Precision Bridge has recently released some exciting new features that we’re sure our clients will love. We’re growing fast, and we’re pleased to share how these advancements will make it easier for us to serve our customers.
In our most recent 6.2 release, we’re offering two important upgrades to our Precision Bridge tool:
An extension to our data replication product
A UI upgrade for revert version support
Due to popular demand, we’ve released an extension to our data replication product that allows users to replicate data directly out of ServiceNow into a variety of supported databases.
This development grew from a need identified by one of our clients. This particular client needed to get data into SAP HANA database, using Precision Bridge’s tool to push information into their SQL Server and applying a piece of custom code to move that data into SAP HANA.
Our team at Precision Bridge quickly realized that this didn’t need to be a two-step process. Our new data replication extension allows users to replicate data directly into their desired platform, streamlining data transfer and eliminating any need to deploy custom code. In our experience, this solution saves clients an average of 2 to 3 months of effort across code development, testing, and deployment.
Many of our clients have begun using this tool and are thrilled with the results – and best of all, it’s not restricted to ServiceNow. Users can replicate data out of other supported platforms, including BMC Remedy, Cherwell and more.

New Support for Version Reverting
Another requested feature we’ve implemented in 6.2 is an upgrade to our UI that enables simple version reverting functionality.
Those familiar with our past iteration may remember the hassle of reverting to a previous project version, a process requiring users to manually move XML files across folders. We’re pleased to announce that with 6.2, users can revert to past versions as needed directly in the UI menu. This is just one more way we’re constantly improving our services to make things easier for our users.

A New Hire Helps Us Accelerate Development Timelines
